From an urban legend of the womans beauty
In my home country (Venezuela), trees hide curious myths; my grand father used to say that when a pregnant woman hits a tree with an ax it begins to bear fruit. Based on the beauty and stylish look of the araguaney tree and the subtlety of a pregnant woman, the legs of the table rise as the roots to show their fruits on the top of the table.
Apamate naked comes from the same family myth; every big tree grows on the base of strong roots. Apamate naked is designed to highlight the great look of the fluent and strong roots that shape a tree, so as in the womens belly life begins to appear and bring the brightest color to her life.
The table is built based on a lace structure formed by 4 legs and 2 structural beams. This table, was thought to be produced by CNC machining and, handcrafted routering in order to make the male notches on the legs and beams, where the precut table will be inserted.
